On the back of your finished postcards, please include following information (ready for when they are displayed): #ParishPostcards, theme, name/s, date completed, location - first 3 characters of your postcode
Please watch the video for full details of this idea. Excuse my reading from notes, hesitation and little mistakes, in my first attempt at sending a video message I wasn’t going for perfection!
Be inspired by one or other of the words for each theme or create something to conveys both words.
Be inspired by one or other of the themes or create more than one piece so that you can create something for each church.
Share your work in progress on social medial with the churches Facebook pages using hashtag #ParishPostcards or send me images by email which I can use to update the community as to how we are collectively progressing.
Whilst we are in isolation you could post your finished #ParishPostcards creation to another member of the community as a cheerful hello.
When we can get together again we will gather all the postcards to create a celebratory masterpiece at each church.
If you would prefer to keep your creation private, that’s fine too. This project is as much about providing you with some inspiration to be creatively occupied whilst in isolation.
If you are in strict self isolation and in need of art materials to get making please let me know and I will see if we can put a creative care package together to deliver to you.
Please let me know if you have any ideas to add to this or any questions.
Enjoy your creating!
With love and prayers, Maria
