For the 5th Sunday of the month we like to try different approaches to our morning service. The Resonate team will be following on from our autumn series and focusing on the themes of inclusivity and diversity. The service will revisit some of the Resonate discussions from the autumn to think about Racial, linguistic, disability, gender/sexuality, etc. diversity in the Church.

You will be able to follow the entire service on the screen.

*** Please be aware: The service contains artistic images depicting nudity ***

*** UPDATE: a recording of the service has now been added below. Apologies that this is of a poorer quality than usual. The video that is shared at the end of the service can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4S_vclBlGZo&feature=emb_logo ***

If you are watching alone or missing seeing people from church, is there someone you can make contact with to see if they fancy joining you for a chat on WhatsApp / Zoom / Facetime or the telephone after the Live Stream service? Grab a coffee and have a catch up much like you would in church on a Sunday morning. If you are not sure who you could make contact with please speak to Vicar Lee or one of the churchwardens (Dave, Jeanette, Maria or Alan) and we will see what we can arrange for you.

JUNIOR & SMALL CHURCH

In keeping with today’s themes of inclusivity and diversity we have selected resources from Together at Home that they first shared last October for Black History Month.

Exploring the stories of some amazing Christians who served God and helped others whilst battling racism and prejudice.  Also included is a resource looking at some of the Black lives in the Bible and a resource exploring what the bible says about Justice.

Many of us struggle to find the right words to respond to the global outpouring of pain and anger with the Black Lives Matter movement. These are big topics to unpack and discuss with adults let alone children.

However, our God is a God of Justice and we are called to "walk justly" in this world.
