Sunday Service - 28th June

Sunday 28th June - 3rd Sunday after Trinity

Point me down your highway, God; direct me along a well-lighted street;
— Psalm 27 v11 (The Message)

Good Morning & welcome all to our virtual Sunday Gathering

Adrian will be leading the service this morning with music, readings & prayers and the talk from Frances all streamed Live on Facebook at 10:30am.

Our bible readings for today are Psalm 27 & Hebrews 10: 32-39

The words for the service will be on the screen for you to follow along this week. A copy of these words (liturgy) are in the booklet linked below.

If you are missing seeing people from church is there someone you can make contact with to see if they fancy joining you for a chat on WhatsApp / Zoom / Facetime or the telephone after the Live Stream service? Grab a coffee and have a catch up much like you would in church on a Sunday morning. If you are not sure who you could make contact with please speak to Vicar Lee or one of the churchwardens (Dave, Jeanette, Maria or Alan) and we will see what we can arrange for you.

UPDATE: a recording of our Facebook Live service has now been added below:

For our closing prayer this Sunday

A prayer inspired by Psalm 27

Gracious Light-Bearer,

Into the shadows of our isolation

you speak words of life and community.

Challenger of our lives,

you call us from places we call home

to lead us more deeply into the world you love.

With your gentle, healing touch

you redeem the broken places of our lives

and you heal the wounded places of the earth.

Inspire our worship here this day,

so that we may receive liberation in your word,

and be filled to overflowing

to share your reconciling love throughout the earth.

We pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.
