Sunday 7th June - Trinity Sunday
Good Morning & welcome all to our virtual Sunday Gathering
Vicar Lee will be leading the service this morning with music, readings & prayers and the talk from Richard, all streamed Live on Facebook at 10:30am.
Our bible readings for today are Psalm 8 and Matthew 28. 16-20
Update: a recording of our Facebook Live service has now been added below
***Here’s a link to the lament that Lee shared: A Psalm of lament & praise in a time of coronavirus by Revd Kenneth Howcroft***
The words for the service will be on the screen for you to follow along this week. A copy of these words (liturgy) are in the booklet linked below.
If you are watching with family or housemates then we encourage you to take a few moments to chat about what you hear today. If you are watching alone then maybe you could make contact with 1 or 2 others over WhatsApp or even a Zoom call, with a coffee in hand - much like you would do most Sunday mornings.

celebrating volunteers
This week has been National Volunteers' Week
It's a time, set aside each year, to recognise and appreciate the amazing contributions of time, energy and skills that people give to make our world a better place, for free.
Bristol Noise have been celebrating by featuring volunteers from across Bristol, including our own Liz Leaman, on their website and Facebook Page. Please take a look to see the variety of volunteering that goes on.
A very special thank-you to everyone who volunteers in the communities of Saint Stephen’s and Holy Trinity, Hotwells.
For our closing prayer this Sunday
A Volunteer’s Prayer
I thank Thee, Lord as a volunteer
For the chance to serve another year.
And to give of myself in some small way,
To those not blessed as I each day.
My thanks for health and mind and soul,
To aid me ever toward my goal.
For eyes to see the good in all,
A hand to extend before a fall.
For legs to go where the need is great,
Learning to love—forgetting to hate.
For ears to hear and heart to care,
When someone's cross is hard to bear.
A smile to show my affection true,
With energy aplenty—the task to do.
And all I ask, dear Lord, if I may,
Is to serve you better day by day.
Amen
