Sunday 8th November - Remembrance Sunday
Good Morning & welcome all to our virtual Sunday Gathering
Frances will be leading the service this morning with music, readings & prayers and the talk from Richard all streamed Live on Facebook at 10:30am.
Our bible readings for today are 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

If you are missing seeing people from church is there someone you can make contact with to see if they fancy joining you for a chat on WhatsApp / Zoom / Facetime or the telephone after the Live Stream service? Grab a coffee and have a catch up much like you would in church on a Sunday morning. daily call to pray for the nation at 6pm
The Archbishops of Canterbury and York and senior church leaders have called a month of Prayer for the Nation during the second lockdown. Read more here
Throughout the month, Christians will be encouraged to pray daily for a specific area of national concern, wherever they are, culminating in a collective moment of prayer at 6pm each evening, with cathedrals and churches across the country invited to ring a bell at this time.
Christians will be encouraged to follow a simple seven-day prayer cycle, praying for a specific area each day including the NHS and frontline workers, the bereaved, and those struggling with physical and mental ill-health, and for children and young people.The suggestion is that as many of us as possible unite to do this at 6pm each day.
“We call upon the Church of England to make November 2020 a month of prayer for our nation. We know that we are in the faithful hands of the risen Christ who knows our weaknesses, tiredness and struggles and whose steadfast love endures forever.”
