Good Morning & welcome all to our virtual Sunday Gathering

Richard will be leading the service this morning with music, readings & prayers and the talk from Jeanette all streamed Live on Facebook at 10:30am.

Our bible readings for today are Genesis 32.22-31 and Matthew 14.13-21

The words for the service will be on the screen for you to follow along this week. A copy of these words (liturgy) are in the booklet linked below.

If you are missing seeing people from church is there someone you can make contact with to see if they fancy joining you for a chat on WhatsApp / Zoom / Facetime or the telephone after the Live Stream service? Grab a coffee and have a catch up much like you would in church on a Sunday morning. If you are not sure who you could make contact with please speak to Vicar Lee or one of the churchwardens (Dave, Jeanette, Maria or Alan) and we will see what we can arrange for you.

A recording of the Facebook Live service will be saved below:

the Church of england - time to pray

Time to Pray presents everything you need for Prayer During the Day, with variations according to the day of the week and the season of the Church’s year.

You can use Prayer During the Day on its own, as your sole act of prayer and praise, or you can use it alongside Night Prayer – also provided here – in a pattern of prayer at the beginning and end of the day.

  • Access Prayer During the Day, together with full text of psalms and short readings from Common Worship: Time to Pray.

  • Follow a simple pattern of daily prayer that varies according to the season and day of the week.

  • Access Night Prayer, together with guidance on sustaining a pattern of regular prayer.

Time to Pray is available as an app, podcast or book.
