Our bible readings for today are Romans 10.5-15 and Matthew 14.22-33

If you are missing seeing people from church is there someone you can make contact with to see if they fancy joining you for a chat on WhatsApp / Zoom / Facetime or the telephone after the Live Stream service? Grab a coffee and have a catch up much like you would in church on a Sunday morning. If you are not sure who you could make contact with please speak to Vicar Lee or one of the churchwardens (Dave, Jeanette, Maria or Alan) and we will see what we can arrange for you.

A recording of the Facebook Live service will be saved below:

Fruitfulness on the Frontline

Prayer Journey

A 40-day prayer journey from LICC (The London Institute for Contemporary Christianity) to help build habits of fruitfulness – wherever we are.

There are moments on our frontlines that put a real spring in our step, when we know we’ve made a difference and pointed others to God. Perhaps these moments occur once a month, or a few times a year or… when was the last time I felt like that?

This prayer journey is all about helping us see our frontline through God’s eyes. It’s about recognising the many ways he is working through us every day. And it’s about building habits of fruitfulness – wherever we are.

For our closing prayer this Sunday

Gracious God,

You call us to let go of the things we cling to

and step out in faith,

trusting in Your love and provision.

Give us courage to step out boldly,

and sufficient faith to follow without fear.

Take our lives and our gifts.

Use them to accomplish more than we could possibly imagine,

so that, through us, Your kingdom might come

and Your will be done

on earth as it is in heaven.

Amen.
